The Beano Power Awards are about letting the world know what makes life brighter! This category is about finding out what has been the best TV show of the last 12 months.

Only you can decide by casting your vote below!

The Great British Bake Off

Channel 4

Has anyone done something as simple as getting a slice of cake from the cupboard and pretended that they were in that white tent in Down Hall, Essex? Of course, there’s a lot of skill and practice involved in baking and that’s why The Great British Bake Off continues its run of popularity among cake enthusiasts. But it’s not just the mixing and icing that keeps us interested – it’s almost like a soap opera. We all felt the zing of drama when Jürgen was knocked out of the competition. Still, well done to Giuseppe Dell'Anno, who earned his victory by keeping a cool head and a steady hand in the final.

Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing

Is it us, or was this year’s show the best Strictly yet? With so many memorable, beautiful dance routines from each of the contestants, it was thrilling to see John Whaite and Rose Ayling-Ellis come head-to-head in the final!

I’m A Celebrity

I'm A Celebrity

Due to COVID restrictions, this year’s I’m a Celebrity was the second in the series to take place at Gwrych Castle in Wales, but was still packed with scary challenges and stomach-churning trials. Former Emmerdale actor Danny Miller was eventually crowned this year’s winner, with Coronation Street star Simon Gregson coming second place. The Saturdays’ singer Frankie Bridge was third, placing higher than her footballer husband Wayne, who took part in the show in 2016!

The Falcon and Winter Soldier

The Falcon And the Winter Soldier | Marvel Studios | Disney +

This show takes place after the Marvel movie Avengers: Endgame, and follows Falcon (Sam Wilson) and Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes) as they get into some very precarious situations. If you’re after a show bursting with some excellent storylines and awesome special effects, this is the one for you!

The Masked Singer

The second series of The Masked Singer started during Christmas 2020 and ended in February 2021, and featured a gang of often unlikely celebrities bellowing their hearts out while dressed as a Viking or a big clock. Singer Joss Stone who won the competition, dressed as a sausage.
