Each flea is different and requires a unique approach when it comes to care. As such, for all you new flea owners, remember to check this list for essential information on how to care for your chosen flea.

1. Water

Flea-onardo needs lots of fresh water, to clean their many paintbrushes. Without a regular supply, this arty flea will end up getting drips of brown in the red paint, and will absolutely trash the place in a rage if that happens. So please, keep them topped up.

2. Food

Flea-onardo is a picky eater, and only eats gluten-flea snacks that are given away at fancy art shows. Flea-onardo owners often complain that they spend a fortune on stuffed olives and cheese, and have to serve them on tiny silver plates using tweezers.

3. Other Diet

Apart from posh snacks, Flea-onardo doesn't need much food. In fact, they'll often wake up at 4pm and miss breakfast and lunch. But they do need a steady source of inspiration for their latest artworks - so any owners should be ready to show them the foaming, wild ocean every now and again.

4. Litter tray

Flea-onardo will make a huge mess. Not just olive stones and crumbs, but also big heaps of artworks that aren't quite good enough. Flea-onardo also refuses to throw out any old masterpieces, as one of these days a famous art collector will buy them all up (no doubt). So be ready to hose down the inside of the tin regularly!

5. Socialising

It's important for Flea-onardo to occasionally drop in to art shows, possibly with Slime Flea who they can show off to. The rest of the time Flea-onardo is happy to just stay at home painting and sleeping.

6. Grooming

Flea-onardo doesn't do much grooming. At all. So apart from leaving a fresh pair of overalls out every now and again, you can leave Flea-onardo to make a mess.

7. Well-being

Flea-onardo may seem like a strange flea (staying up all night, sleeping all day, making sculptures out of belly-button fluff) but they are usually quite content if they are just left to do their own thing. This might be difficult when you hear odd clanging sounds at 2AM, but just trust us.

8. Exercise

As an artist, Flea-onardo does basically zero exercise. Apparently their creative mind is very active, though - so that's something. The good thing for owners is Flea-onardo doesn't need any long walks or to play regular games, they just need a stack of difficult French books and lots of baggy shirts. Much easier.
