Your 3DS is about to get a blast from the past!
Way, way back in the mists of time, in unthinkably ancient 2003, there was a handheld console called the Game Boy Advance. It was exciting at the time, but compared to things like the Switch, looks a bit rubbish! Just look at it!
One of the best games on the GBA was Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga!
It was the first in what became known as the Mario & Luigi RPG series, an awesome run of games that went on for a decade or so!
Well, now your 3DS gets to experience a new, improved version of it!
This week, a modernised, futuristic, shiny version of Superstar Saga is released, along with new levels, new storylines, new quests and Amiibo functions! It’s fully titled Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions!
You get to play as a lowly baddie!
The new Minion Quest mode lets you see the story from the other side, as you take on the role of one of Bowser’s flunkies and experience a whole new perspective on things!
Or, wait for the end of the month and go nuts!
At the end of October, Nintendo Switch owners will get to play Super Mario Odyssey, a massive open-world game in which, for the first time ever, Mario’s hat is alive!
