Do you love Harry Potter? Here are some jobs you could do in the future!

Be a Quidditch coach!

Teach the Quidditch stars of the future by becoming a coach in America! The US Quidditch organisation has over 4,000 athletes and hosts 9 tournaments. Flying skills optional.

Be a professional wand maker!

All wizards need a wand and Daniel & Daniel create wands in Cambridge. You'll probably need to be good at woodwork, though.

Become a broom maker!

Wizards always need a broom – also known as a besom – and it's a very skilful art. Plus, your floors will always be free of crumbs.

You could be a herbologist like Pomona Sprout!

Herbology is a subject taught at Hogwarts, where students learn about and how to care for plants for magical purposes. Herbalists exist in the Muggle world too. We're not sure if mandrakes make that awful noise in real life, though. Best bring your own earmuffs, just in case.

Or even be a dragon keeper!

Looking after dragons isn't confined to the world of Harry Potter. At London Zoo, there's a team of people who know how to care for the animals at the Attenborough Komodo Dragon House. We're pretty certain they don't breathe fire, but you'd still have to be careful when looking after them.

Teach at real school of witchcraft!

We've saved the best until last. You could teach pupils about magic at the Bothwell School of Witchcraft at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex! You never know, you might have the next Harry Potter in your class. Or, if you're unlucky, Draco Malfoy.
