Love Beano? You could win a family ticket to The Story Museum’s awesome new exhibition – ‘Ka-Boom! The Art of Creating Comics’. 

Join your host Octoboom and be guided through the comic-making process - from developing characters and plotting, to drawing, colouring and lettering. Explore, check out original comic artwork from the 50’s to today, pick up some expert tips, and don’t forget to keep an eye out for Dennis, Gnasher, Minnie & Harsha – it's gonna be totally blam-tastic! 

How To Enter

Three individual people can win a family ticket (for up to four people) to The Story Museum in Oxford, including their brand new exhibition – ‘Ka-Boom! The Art of Creating Comics’.

As well as Ka-Boom! visitors get to explore 2 floors of immersive galleries including The Whispering Wood, featuring live storytelling, and The Enchanted Library, where families can visit fictional worlds including Winnie The Pooh's Hundred Acre Wood, the magical landscape of Narnia plus journey through the looking glass for adventures into Wonderland.

Competition Information

Entries must be submitted on Beano.com before 4pm on the competition closing date, Monday 15th August 2022. Entrants must have the consent of a parent or guardian over 18 to enter the competition. One entry per person. There is only one correct answer.

Three winners will be selected to receive the prize of a family ticket (up to 4 people) to the museum's galleries. Three different winners will be selected to win a family ticket each. The tickets are valid for one visit between 1st September 2022 and 1st March 2023. Please note that travel costs are not included in the prize. Visit www.storymuseum.org.uk or call box office 01865-807600 for information on the exhibition. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

The winner will be picked at random from all correct entries and will be notified within ten working days of the competition closing. We will contact the winning entrant's parent or guardian to confirm their consent to being sent the prize and to confirm delivery / collection details. All decisions are final.

This competition is only open to people living the UK. The winner's parent or guardian will be required to submit their name, email and postal address within 2 weeks of being notified of their win in order to receive their prize.

All email addresses will be deleted once the competition closes, except for the confirmed winner's email which is required to be documented for ASA rules. Email addresses will never be used for any other purposes. In order to run our online competitions, we only collect your parent/guardian’s email address and response to enter the competition and the email address will never be used for any other purposes.

Names of winners may be published by Beano Studios and our partner, The Story Museum, in our relevant publications and/or on online and social media channels.
