10 Reasons Dennis’s Dad is Epic!

My teacher asked me to write an essay called '10 Reasons I Love My Dad'... YUCK!

That was just too BLURGH to actually do, so I wrote one called 10 Reasons My Dad is Epic. Here it is!

1. My dad is epic because he's never too busy to spend time with me...

Even if it hurts!

2. My dad is epic because he cooks the most amazing meals known to mankind...

And I said known to mankind, not eaten - because nobody would even try!

Sometimes!

4. My dad is epic because he's ever so brave...

As long as Mum isn't around!

6. My dad is epic because he knows how to do loads of cool things that he learned when he was a kid (back when dinosaurs ruled the earth)...

Pity he's forgotten most of them!

But he doesn't always pick the right time to say it!

8. My dad is epic because he always forgives me when something bad happens that could maybe, possibly, in some teeny-weeny way be my fault...

Even if I don't agree!

'Cos that's a dad's job, right? And he makes up words like fun-cational!

10. And finally, my dad is epic because even though he's supposed to be a grown-up, he'll always be a kid at heart... just like me!

I found that out when we watched a video of the stuff my dad did when he was my age...
