1995 Beano Annual

Chill out and go with the flow with this Beano Book! Unlike previous years creating variations of the Beano logo, all Beano annuals from this point forwards would use the contemporary red, yellow, and black logo.

A slightly different Dennis

David Sutherland, legendary artist for Bash Street Kids, had also been illustrating Dennis the Menace since 1970. This period saw a slight shift in his appearance to wearing trainers and having a slightly shorter stature.

Little Larry

Meet the rudest dude in the neighborhood! This was Larry's only appearance in the Beano annuals, after a three year run in the weekly comic.

Blast from the Past

The kids have done their homework for once, and made a Beano history project to look at old comic strips (like you're doing right now)! There's a rare moment where Teacher, sympathetic to the cause, hands out Beano comics as research.
