Beano 4284: Star Gnaws!

1. May the farts be with you!

This week, we’re celebrating May the fourth – Beano style! The Phart Side have built another planet-blasting Doof Star and Dennis and Gnasher are speeding through the galaxy to save the day! Will they thwart Daft Walter’s plans to take over the universe and rescue Princess Minnie?

2. Court in the act!

This week, Minnie finds in court! Chester the cat faces Judge Dreadful after being accused of shredding a dress with his pointy claws. Minnie boldly steps in as his lawyer and attempts to save him from a heinous punishment – a week without belly rubs!

3. Going underground!

Dan reluctantly gets up early to go to school to discover that it’s pouring down! He’s also late and uses some hidden routes to be used in an emergency – will he be able to navigate Beanotown’s sewers to make it to his desk on time?

4. Something’s not write!

Rubi is struggling to write a history essay because she finds the subject so boring. Will she be able to use some technology to complete her task and nod fall asleep in the process?

5. Doughnut worry!

Stevie has accidentally uploaded his school vlog and is worried that his followers will take offence at being called ‘doughnuts’ – even though his remark was directed at his classmates. Will he able to save his exciting digital career before the bell rings?

Beano 4283: Has Bash Street Got Talent?

1. Search for a star!

After a science experiment takes a stinky turn for the worse, Teacher is replaced by a substitute called Mr Cowell who has a passion for music. Instead of teaching normal lessons, he launches a talent show in a bid to find Bash Street School’s next star!

2. It came from the bog!

Dennis’ dad wants some peace and quiet so he can enjoy his scary novel – The Bog Beast Horror – in peace, so ushers Dennis and Gnasher outside to enjoy some fresh air. The day takes a sinister turn when he is confronted with a muddy monstrosity himself!

3. Nothing else mattress!

Harsha loves having a lie in, so has developed a genius hack – a wearable mattress! Can she get through the entire day without leaving her bed?

4. Making a meal of it!

Dangerous Dan and his family head to Beanotown train station for a fun day out. His next mission is to head to the buffet car. Will he be able to his hands on three meal deals without S.M.I.R.K. trying to spoil his lunchtime?

5. Terror vision!

Minnie’s favourite TV show Mecha-Chef has been cancelled by Neatpix, so she and Francis head to the “bum-brains” headquarters to voice her angry opinions… very loudly!

Beano 4282: Minxing Just Got Eggs-treme!

1. The Minx who stole Easter!

It’s Easter and Minnie may have overdone it with all the chocolate and has turned into a massive egg! This week’s story traces how this unbelievable transformation came to be and why she planned to steal Easter itself!

2. Stop that trolley!

Dennis has been roped into helping his dad take an old piece of furniture to the rubbish dump. Just helping him get it in the car and lift it out at the other end… nothing could possibly go wrong, could it?

3. Sweet dreams!

Witchy Woman has robbed Beanotown bank and has tricked everyone into believing their daydreams were real while she walked off with the loot! Surely Bananaman couldn’t fall prey to such a evil plan…

4. The appliance of science!

Rubi’s got her pocket money but it’s come with one rule – she can only buy one sweet treat. Can a scientific formula and the latest gadgets help her decide on what will be the best value for money? Or will the many options cause a massive headache?

5. Lost in the dessert!

Olive the dinner lady is making a fresh batch of custard for dessert which kickstarts a chain of events which disrupts the pupil’s lessons… Will they be able to find their way out of this lumpy yellow maze?

Beano 4281: Friends at First Fart!

1. Gone with the wind!

Betty recalls the time Yeti came into her life in a fun, extended flashback! Here we learn about how they came to be pals and how their monosyllabic mountain dweller accidentally helps her with a household chore her parents have been bugging her about for ages!

2. What do knights in a museum listen to?

Heavy metal! Anyway… Roger’s class are visiting the Beanotown Museum and Miss Mistry has given each student a work sheet to complete as they mooch around the building. This sounds like far too much work for Roger, who hatches a plan for some top-tier dodging!

3. Take to the skies!

Dennis has helped his mum with the big shop at Widl and happens to find a pound coin in a shopping trolley. Instead of getting in the car to go home, he plans to spend his money wisely on the walk home with Gnasher…

4. Toy story!

Beanotown’s best young spy pays a visit to his HQ and notices they’ve had a bit of a tidy up and added some fun new gadgets to try out. Will he confuse a regular item for a radar jammer? Find out in this week’s issue!

5. Check this out!

Minnie’s dad accuses her of doing nothing but lazing around and watching TV… which is completely true, but that doesn’t stop her from bringing her fact checker into the conversation to dispute these outrageous claims!

Beano 4280: Double Trouble!

1. Robot wars!

Dennis defeats Professor Pfooflepfeffer’s fake alien slime monster, so the evil scientist plots her revenge by creating a giant robot who looks a little like him! Will this mechanised menace cause havoc in Beanotown and will Dennis get the blame, despite not being made out of metal?

2. Sow what?

Miss Mistry is teaching her class the fine are of growing vegetables and it seems Minnie doesn’t have the patience to watch her tomato plants seeds grow. Will she speed up nature by using one of Rubi’s gadgets and get a lovely plant by the end of the lesson? Or will things go awry and end in absolute chaos?

3. Match of the day!

Teacher has to leave the classroom for a brief moment and places his trust in Class 2B to behave while he’s away. Will they continue their studies or will they seize the opportunity to have an indoor football match? The panel above has probably given the game away!

4. A work of genius!

There’s a lot going on in Edd’s head. This week, the Numskulls are having an argument about why he might not be the world’s greatest genius (when it’s probably Rubi). They go on a fact finding mission into Rubi’s brain to get some answers!

5. Party time!

It’s ‘Erbert’s birthday party and Calamity James has arrived with a specially wrapped box. Will a game of ‘pin the tail on the donkey’ end in absolute victory for James or will bad luck get the better of him?
