On an iconic London Bus, the full cast of the Beano finds themselves in the middle of the swinging sixties! It looks like a big class trip for Bash Street, as there are lots of nameless students onboard.
This strip was illustrated by Dave Jenner, who would later draw Tom Dick and Sally, during their Beano run in the 1970's.
During the 60's, puzzles and activities in the Beano started to become more kid-friendly, and less about logic and puns. This 'vertical' spread layout is out of the ordinary, having been rarely used since the wartime annuals.
Midge made three annual appearances, appearing occasionally in the weekly comic during the mid-1960's.
