The eyes are one of the most important things when drawing a character 
Pupils aren't in the middle of the eyes, put them near the nose 
Add eyebrows to give your Dennis an expression and make sure his head isn't too round 
Give Dennis big chunky spikes for his hair 
When drawing a pose, it really helps to act out that pose in the mirror so you know what it looks like!

You don't need to be super neat with his stripes!
