Homemade Halloween: Spooky Head in a Jar Prank!

If you've got a jar, some paper and a computer printer, you could be on your way to creating the most fiendish Halloween prank ever.
In a matter of minutes, you could create a 'head in a jar' prank which will make even the iron-nerved friend or family member screech like a tiny bird. Let's go!
You will need:
A jar, some paper and a computer printer, scissors, a fridge and some unsuspecting prank victims!
Ready? Follow our step-by-step guide below!
STEP 1
Preparation is key to a good prank, so grab your jar, paper, some scissors (get a grown up to help you trim the photo) and a fridge to hide your fiendish prank!
STEP 2
Take a picture of your face and print it out. It's best if you pull your weirdest face as that will look best inside the jar. We've tinkered around with this photo so it will look 3D. Carefully trim off any white strips of paper or get a grown up to do that, while you sit back and rub your hands with glee! If you don't have access to a printer, why not draw a spooky face and make it really creepy?
STEP 3
You could use coloured pencils to give your spooky face a green colour, or if you've got a prank partner who can do stuff on computers, get them to add some effects, like bubbles! Once again, trim the white strips of paper from the photo.
STEP 4
Take the print out of your scary face and gently roll it into a big tube. You're now going to feed the picture into the jar, like those people who make those mysterious ships in bottles. The paper should slowly unroll inside the jar and line the inside surface. You can use paper or socks to pad out the gaps inside so the face looks as though it's pressed against the glass or plastic. It'll look like you're actually inside the jar!
STEP 5
And here's for the fiendish part. Place your jar inside a fridge or cupboard and ask someone to get you a special Halloween treat you've been saving for everyone. Sit back and wait for a terrifying scream!
Don't forget that you've done this yourself and get something from the fridge later, otherwise you've played a Halloween prank on yourself!
