Beano Makes – The Hoop Glider
No need to wing it with this simple floating flier!
You will need:
- A sheet of card- Sticky tape- A plastic drinking straw- A pair of scissors - Some help from an adult!
Step 1
Fold the card lengthways so it's a little bit narrower, and trim it down with scissors
Step 2
Fold the card into three equal strips...
...and carefully cut them out with scissors
Step 3
Make a small hoop from one of the strips and tape it shut
Step 4
Tape the other two strips of card together, then make a bigger hoop
Step 5
Trim the straw down with scissors...
...and tape the straw to the inside of both hoops
Done!
Now just throw it like a normal paper aeroplane!
Experiment with different sized paper hoops and see how far you can glide!
