Hello, my name's Jack, but you'll know me better as Betty’s dad.

I work in the marketing department of WilburCorp, so that means boss is Mayor Wilbur Brown!

My job doesn’t exactly score highly in the entertainment league, but there’s enough to keep me interested and challenge the old noggin, but when my shift is over, there’s nothing I love more than coming home to Betty and my wife Diane and relax in our comfy living room! Is there a better feeling than kicking off your shoes, putting on your favourite pair of slippers and eating a biscuit? 

Recently, Diane and I have been spending a lot of our free time doing repairs about the place. Diane’s excellent with a saw and a block of wood. Some call it carpentry, but she’s more of a sawdust-covered wizard. 

There’s always something to I don't know what Betty does when we're out but she seems to be very strong and a bit clumsy. And she’s always opening that fridge door and getting lots of snacks to take up to her room. Her tray is always piled high: cake, sandwiches, crisps, chocolate, drinks. That’s a lot for one person, I always say and she just smiles and goes up to her room. Sometimes she’ll have a big nap and snore and fart until it’s time for dinner. Some of the fart noises are deafening, it’s like she’s got a grizzly bear in her cupboard or something. I mean, it would have to be a massive cupboard but you get my point. 

I wish she’d open her bedroom window open a little sometimes to let some fresh air in. It’s quite a bit stinky sometimes.

Diane has just sent me a text as she’s at the DIY shop and wants to know if we need anything. I’d better have a look around the house to see if there’s anything which needs repairing!
