1950 Magic-Beano Book

The last Magic-Beano book, these annuals would revert to just the 'Beano' name the following year.

Koko and Eggo, one last time!

After 7 years of Magic-Beano, readers would have recognised Koko as Eggo's friend, rather than the mascot of the Magic comic. Koko the pup never appears in subsequent annuals or comics.

Tricky Dicky Ant

This is the final Annual adventure of Tricky Dicky Ant, having made appearances since 1940. Only a few pages in this annual were printed 'landscape' style, which allowed 9 frames and an extra-wide title.

Swanky Lanky Liz

The following year, Swanky Lanky Liz would get absorbed into Lord Snooty's gang, still appearing in the 'Lord Snooty and His Pals' strip, instead of her solo comic strips.
