With the BRIT Awards coming up, we asked all you Beano fans to tell us who you think the winners would be – and the results are now in!

A poll of over 1,500 British kids has revealed top acts such as George Ezra and Anne-Marie are favourites to win some of the biggest awards at the star-studded event taking place on the 20th February 2019.

So who else do you think will do alright on the night? Well, let’s take a look!

Best Female Solo Artist

Following a great year that saw singles ‘Friends’ and ‘2002’ hit the charts, UK singer Anne-Marie received 45% of the votes, meaning she gets the Beano seal of approval for the Best Female Solo Artist slot.

British Male Solo Artist

If your votes are on the money, then it’s going to be a very big night for George Ezra! That’s because the Budapest singer scored a whopping 52% of your votes, beating a whole host of top stars in the process, including Sam Smith and Craig David.

Best British Group

We’ve done solo artists but when it comes to Best British Group, there’s only one winner as far as Beano fans are concerned – and that’s Little Mix! The former X Factor stars made 2018 their own with releases such as Woman Like Me and with 61% of the vote, it looks like it’s going to be another great year for Jesy, Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie.

Best British Single

By George, there’s no stopping Mr Ezra! Not only have you voted the UK singer as most likely to walk off with the Best Male Solo Artist Award, you also reckon the boy George is most likely to snag the Best British Single award with 'Shotgun' having won 25% of the votes.

Best International Male Solo Artist

Just in case you thought the BRITs was all about British acts, the Best International Male Solo Artist award sees Canadian star Shawn Mendes scoop 41% of the votes for songs such as Youth and Nervous.

Best International Female Solo Artist

While Shawn Mendes gets the nod for Best International Male Solo Artist, the Best International Female Solo Artist slot sees Ariana Grande receive the most nominations from Beano fans with 58% of the votes going to the ‘Thank U Next’ singer, who currently holds the number 1 in the UK Top 40 for her track ‘7 Rings’.
